Arceneaux-Myers
Chiropractor
Dr. Melissa Arceneaux-Myers was born and raised in Houma, Louisiana. At a very young age she knew that the chiropractic profession was what she wanted to pursue. From having her very first adjustment at the age of 11, she continued to seek treatment throughout junior high and high school as an athlete. Following high school, she attended Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana for her undergraduate studies for a Bachelor in Human Biology. She then moved to Houston, Texas where she received her Doctorate in Chiropractic at Texas Chiropractic College. Coming back to South Louisiana, Dr. Arceneaux knew that this was where she wanted to provide the community of St. Charles Parish with quality treatment using chiropractic manipulative therapy, myofascial release, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, decompression and flexion distraction treatment-- as well as specializing in automobile accidents, sports related injuries, and many other treatment protocols.
Dr. Arceneaux-Myers is a Chiropractor who is compassionate when it comes to the wellness of her patients. She takes the one on one time to listen to her patients, along with any concerns and/or goals that they want to achieve from each visit at the office. She truly believes that each patient is specific to their own needs, and is willing to take the time and passion to work with each patient as an individual as to what treatment will best suite their needs and overall wellness.
Dr. Arceneaux-Myers stays active in the community, but is sure to make and her son, Grey, a top priority. She lives by the motto her grandfather taught her, which is God first, Family second, and Work third-- and she works hard to give each one of those things the time and devotion they need. She is a member of the St. Charles Parish Rotary Club, Young Leadership Council, and she participates in various race events year round such as 5/10k races and triathlons, and is also avid in working out in high-intensity interval training on a daily basis. She believes in the saying of ‘practice what you preach’, and encourages an overall healthy and pain/stress-free lifestyle for each of her patients and hopes that they gain that from each visit with her at Chiropractic Total Wellness Center.
